That one's going to be a double yolk egg for sure. and as for the excess eggs, sell them. I do. I get almost 2 dozen eggs a day from my hens and I sell EVERYTHING we can't eat at home. It sure helps with the feed bill.

We talked about selling them, but weve been giving them to family and friends for so long, we cant bear to ask them for $2. I'm not 100% legal with zoning laws as far as the hens go, so I dont want to chance selling them from home. I have 2 friends that want 2-3 layers each, so I'll just sell them to em cheap. 19 is too many for us anyway here.

Wow, that's impressive. Was she walking around with a surprised look on her face afterwards? That looks as big as the duck eggs we get.

I love the double yolkers or maybe even a triple. I wish they laid those all the time.

Hey, if you can't find a way to get rid of them, you could always fry them up with the shell and all and feed them back to the birds. I have pulverized the cooked shells and fed them back to the birds and everyone on backyardchickens.com swears that feeding your birds cooked eggs will not cause them to eat the freshly laid eggs.

Just thought you might be interested in the extra info.
